Atlanta Homebuyer Seminar and Bus Tour
Saturday, April 10, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Join the Atlanta Development Authority for another free homebuyer
education seminar and learn how to access up to $60,000 in government
subsidy to help with downpayment and closing costs.
Each participant will receive a Homebuyer Education Certificate (a value
of $60) at the end of the daylong seminar. This certificate is required in
order to participate in any government homebuyer program.
Program
8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. Registration and Breakfast
9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Homebuyer Education Part I
Learn the ins and outs of buying a home from experts
and be able to pre-qualify for a mortgage on the spot
12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Bus Tour and Lunch
Tour The Commons at Historic Westside Village
Tour Habershal at West Highlands
Tour Huff Heights
2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Homebuyer Education Part II
Learn about foreclosure prevention, being a good
neighbor and available downpayment assistance programs;
Graduates receive Homebuyer Education Certificates
5 p.m. Bus returns to Loft at Castleberry Hill
