Invest Atlanta Receives Gold and Bronze Awards for Excellence in Economic Development

ATLANTA – September 19, 2025 – Invest Atlanta is proud to receive 2025 Excellence in Economic Development Gold and Bronze Awards from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The awards were bestowed for the organization’s work in two categories including Innovative Economic Development and Public-Private Partnerships. Dr. Eloisa Klementich, president and CEO, and representatives of Invest Atlanta were honored at the IEDC 2025 Annual Conference in Detroit, Michigan, September 14-17.
Invest Atlanta is leading the field of economic development with its Fresh Food Access Strategy (Gold) and Wells Fargo Open for Business (WFOFB) program (Bronze) awards.  These awards shine a spotlight on Invest Atlanta’s commitment to its community and showcases the significant impact of economic development,” said Nathan Ohle, IEDC President and CEO. “IEDC is honored to present this award to Invest Atlanta to celebrate both their leadership and innovation in the field."
Each year, IEDC honors economic development organizations, government entities, initiatives, and programs that consistently demonstrate excellence in the field. The honorees lead transformational projects that revitalize communities and advance the practice of economic development.
