Alongside WorkSource Atlanta, Invest Atlanta hosted two On the Job Training information sessions for businesses on March 6, 2019.

At the sessions, WorkSource Atlanta to describe the OJT process and how the business would participate in the program.  Informational packets for the businesses and one-on-one consultations were made available to attendees following the sessions.

On the Job Training helps to ensure that workers and employers have resources needed to maximize their success. It’s also designed to assist employers in building a talent pipeline by providing employees with on the job training.

Through grant funding, WorkSource Atlanta will cover the hourly rate of each work experience employee. The employer must commit to hiring the individual upon successful completion of training. The participant must work up to 40 hours a week until having developed the skills needed by the employer or for a period of 17 weeks, whichever comes first.
