Gary Michel, President and CEO of Honeywell Home and Building Technologies, recently participated in our Executive Corner video series. Michel explains how Atlanta's "great level of talent," thriving tech community, and concentration of Fortune 500 companies attracted the company to Midtown Atlanta.

The company announced in 2016 they would establish their first software development center and home and building technologies headquarters operation in Atlanta. This project is bringing 800 new full-time positions and $19 million in investment to the City of Atlanta.

Honeywell’s new Georgia operation will serve as a development center for software and technologies ranging across the company’s three divisions: Honeywell Aerospace, Performance Materials, and Technologies; Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions.
