The Invest Atlanta Board approved $250,000 in Small Business Improvement Grants to five small businesses. Utilizing tax allocation district (TAD) funding, the grants will help finance interior and exterior modernization projects to support their long-term sustainability and growth.
These Small Business Improvement Grants are in addition to eight previous grants awarded earlier in 2025, bringing the total investment to $650,000 in support of 13 small businesses. The latest small businesses approved for funding include:
Big Daddy’s Kitchen
A $50,000 Campbellton TAD Small Business Improvement Grant will help fund improvements to Big Daddy’s Kitchen on Campbellton Road. The grant will fund a range of improvements to revitalize the space and ensure a safe, functional and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Bottle Rocket Fine Food & Beverage
A $50,000 Westside TAD Small Business Improvement Grant is funding improvements to a popular neighborhood restaurant in Castleberry Hill that is relocating to South Downtown’s historic Hotel Row. The grant will help fund the construction of a full kitchen, bar and dining room, along with signage, entryway and window upgrades.

A $50,000 Perry Bolton TAD Small Business Improvement Grant will support Strikeout Wingz as it opens its second location in a long-vacant building on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. The grant will be used to preserve the building’s structure and overall curb appeal and upgrade its HVAC system, plumbing and lighting.

Planned improvements will address long-overdue updates to both the interior and exterior of the property, including upgraded equipment, refreshed interiors and a more modern experience for customers.
