During this unprecedented time, we must always think of safety first and heed the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other health authorities. This is the only way we can protect those we love – family and friends.

Here at Invest Atlanta, we are working on doing just that – protecting. Our objective is and always will be to provide the highest level of support to those we serve – city of Atlanta residents and businesses – while preserving the health and safety of our team. Hence, we have asked everyone at Invest Atlanta to work remotely and we are successfully operating as a virtual organization.

We are open and available, and continue to support new projects, provide financing for affordable housing, make loans to businesses and move our programs forward. Forward is the only direction we can go to recover as quickly as possible from COVID-19, and I am proud of the work the staff is delivering and thank them for their commitment and resiliency.

I am also pleased to share that we have launched three new programs to support residents and businesses as we shelter in place:

• IA’s Homebuyer Education Q&A is Online – If you are interested in purchasing a home, you can now take the course online.

• IA Live Webinar Series – Through regular, online conversations, businesses can tune in on IA’s Facebook page to hear from each other and from experts sharing helpful information to accelerate recovery.

• IA Small Business Loan Program – As businesses look for additional resources, IA has many options to consider.
