ATLANTA – August 27, 2021 – Invest Atlanta today announced the hiring of Nino Chiappetta as the agency's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Chiappetta, who has served in an interim capacity in the role since May 2021, will be responsible for the financial well-being of Invest Atlanta by planning the agency's financial strategy and providing financial projections and budget planning to support the implementation of key programs.

"Sound financial leadership and skills are essential for all our stakeholders," said Dr. Eloisa Klementich, president and CEO of Invest Atlanta. "Nino stepped in as interim CFO and immediately showed expertise, good character and sound judgement that will continue to contribute to our goal of making a competitive Atlanta and an Atlanta for everyone."

Reporting to the chief operating officer, Chiappetta is a member of Invest Atlanta's Executive Team.

Chiappetta has more than 20 years of experience, leading finance and accounting teams in the construction, logistics, financial services, and security/technology industries. Before serving as interim CFO for Invest Atlanta, he was the corporate controller for Invest Atlanta. Chiappetta earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy from Northern Illinois University and a Master's in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. He also has an active CPA license.

Chiappetta is married to his wife Martí and is the proud father of two children, Nino Jr. and Nikolas. He enjoys spending time with family, watching a good movie, and doing religious activities.
