Invest Atlanta Played Key Role New Software Design Center Opening

This week, Keysight Technologies, a global electronic measurement technology company and market leader, celebrated the opening of its new software design center in Atlanta. The Keysight Software Design Center is a pivotal move in the company’s strategy to transform parts of its business from hardware manufacturing to software development. Invest Atlanta joined Atlanta City Councilmember Kwanza Hall, Georgia Tech and the Georgia Department of Economic Development to welcome Keysight to its new Atlanta home at Tech Square in Midtown.

Invest Atlanta helped Keysight with this project on several fronts. Earlier this year, Invest Atlanta’s Board of Directors approved an economic opportunity fund incentive for Keysight to help the company establish the facility, which is expected to create more than 240 high-paying software development jobs. Invest Atlanta’s Kent Spencer also assisted Keysight in securing its certificate of occupancy for the new space, enabling Keysight to open its doors to its newly hired employees on schedule. Further, Invest Atlanta has presented its homebuyer incentive programs to Keysight for new employees interested in buying a home in the city.
